The Tri County Amateur Radio Club sponsors VE sessions on the 1st Sunday of every odd numbered month. The sessions are held at 2pm.
At these sessions, license exams for all classes of amateur radio licenses are given. Please see the club calendar for upcoming dates.
Candidates should pre-register at least three days in advance of the session with the VE coordinator. You can register by selecting the VE Registration link from the Main Menu.
Pre-registered candidates will have first preference for testing on the exam day.
What to bring -
Technician Class Exam:
- Photo ID
- Social Security Number
- $10.00 (to cover out-of-pocket expenses of the Tri County Amateur Radio Club VE team)
- 2 #2 pencils, scratch paper and a calculator if you choose to use one
General or above:
- Photo ID
- Social Security Number
- $10.00 (to cover out-of-pocket expenses of the Tri County Amateur Radio Club VE team)
- The signed original and a photocopy of your current FCC license
- The signed original and a photo copy of any valid CSCE's from prior testing sessions
- 2 #2 pencils, scratch paper and a calculator if you choose to use one
